What you will do
The Directorate of Defence Recruiting (DR) Telephonist is the first point of contact for the 0800 1 FORCE line, where you will take incoming calls and enquiries to the Directorate of Defence Recruiting. You’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to Candidates, their family and NZDF personnel that require information, as well as coordinating transfers to Candidate Engagement Managers, Facilitators, Recruiters and other DR personnel. You’ll also manage escalations appropriately, mailing of information packs to potential candidates, entering Candidate and Lead contact details into our system and the follow-up of any outstanding queries.
What we need
Experience in a telephonist/contact centre/service delivery role, with excellent communication skills and good information processing abilities. Your clear and articulate telephone skills, your ability to adapt to the communication needs of others and your ability to be discreet and maintain absolute confidentially of information are key to your success in this position.
You’ll be skilled at problem solving, disseminating and interpreting information and be a team player, where you will support others within the team to achieve overall success.

How to Apply
Please note: that this role is part-time for 20 hrs a week. The required hours are made up as follows; Monday: 8 hours, Tuesday: 8 hours, Wednesday: 4 hours (am). This role is based in Ngauraunga, Wellington.
