You will be a forward thinking, ambitious and experienced professional. The role will involve you working on pieces of work on your own so a level of self-management will be required, with a requirement to manage your key stakeholders (ACC’s Lead Test engineers). You will be responsible for delivering pieces of work that have been requested of you whilst ensuring all requires test artefacts have been completed in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities of the role and what you need to be successful:

  • Preferably one years’ experience in test automation or development
  • Good understanding of and practical experience in testing techniques
  • Good understanding and experience in the use of technologies and tooling in order to drive specific capabilities (e.g. automation, performance, etc.)
  • A basic understanding of the full test life cycle, particularly as it fits with the overall solution development life cycle methods, tools, controls and techniques (e.g. Agile (SAFe), Waterfall, DevOps, Prince2, SDLC, etc.)
  • Ability to make decisions at the appropriate time; taking into account the needs of the situation, priorities, constraints and the availability of necessary information
  • The ability to take the responsibility to influence the direction of the automation effort, and its schedule and prioritization on projects assigned
  • Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to drive innovation and adopt new ways of working
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and contribute to team performance
