The New Zealand Food Safety, Verification Services team in the South Island are seeking applicants for the Travelling Technical Supervisor position to join the Nelson Circuit team.

About the role – Kōrero mō te tūranga
In this role you will carry out verification activities in accordance with current legislation and overseas market access requirements. This role will have a particular focus on seafood verification which includes a busy export certification workload. You will be based in the Nelson region and will travel throughout the upper South Island to carry out verification functions.
This is a great opportunity if you have a science or food technology background as you will be working mainly under the Animal Products Act. We are looking for someone who enjoys a fast paced work environment where no two days are the same and you will also be well versed in building and maintaining successful relationships.
There will be full training is provided to the successful applicant.
