We are inviting applications for the role of Tutor to teach the New Zealand Certificate in Business (Administration and Technology).
This is a part-time role (18.75 hours per week) based at our Kaitaia Campus. The role will be fixed-term commencing early February through to mid-December 2021 and will be dependent upon sufficient student enrolment numbers being met.
As a Tutor, you will provide our ākonga with a high-quality level of learning, and be passionate about passing on your knowledge and skills to enable them to succeed in their studies.
Skills, Experience, and Attributes:
Relevant Qualification in the field of Administration and Technology or Business at level 5 or above
Experience in the field of administration and administration management
A background in one of the following areas: Business Management, Computing, or Administration Management
Teaching experience and a relevant teaching qualification is preferable or commitment to undertake this
Willingness to greet and acknowledge people in Te Reo Māori and pronounces Māori words correctly
Minimum knowledge of āhuatanga Māori actively supports cultural activities (e.g. formal/informal welcomes, caring for visitors, ceremonies)
The ability to work as a team player with excellent interpersonal skills
The ability to use initiative and perform duties in a highly professional manner
An excellent level of computer literacy
A strong understanding of customer service requirements and working in a team
The ability to motivate learners to be the best they can be
