This is a full time position working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm with an on call element.

As a qualified nurse you’ll have experience in Gerontology, relevant legislation and Codes of Practice. Experience in psycho geriatrics and dementia for this position is important.

As the Unit Coordinator you will be required to have a hands on approach with clinical oversight of the residents including medication, clinical reviews, GP rounds, care planning and InterRAI assessments. There is an expectation that the successful person will also complete the audits for the Dementia community and education session for staff as required.

What are we looking for?

•  At least 2 years’ NZ nursing experience
