Veterinarian Reliever – Christchurch | Verification Services
The Team Manager Establishments for Christchurch is looking for a VVeterinarian Reliever to join the team in Christchurch.
About the role: Kōrero mō te tūranga
The role will include relieving duties for the Christchurch team and periods relieving in the neighbouring teams covering Timaru, Nelson, Blenheim and the West Coast.
In exceptional circumstances relieving roles could be country wide. A car, phone and laptop will be provided.
The home base premises is SPM135, South Pacific Meats Burnham, approx. 25 minutes south of Christchurch. South Pacific Meats is a busy cattle and sheep processing premises.
This role would suit a veterinarian wishing to gain experience working at a variety of premises. The veterinarians in this area are experienced and supportive and thus there would be an opportunity to receive coaching and mentoring support.
The role requires a person with good communication skills who is able to work with a number of different MPI and operator personnel. The role requires a flexible attitude and the ability to cover a variety of relief assignments sometimes at short notice. The ability to self manage at times is expected.
The start date for this role is 31 July 2021.
