Job Description About the role | Kōrero mō te tūrangaYou will be a part of a team of 2 Veterinarians that provide verification and certification activities to ensure compliance with New Zealand and overseas export requirements for animal and animal products.This is a high energy, demanding role at a complex and progressive company that requires an individual who is who is astute, self-motivated and committed to this line of work. This premise is a cattle site, you will predominantly be working the night shift which is usually 4.30pm until 2am, including some Saturdays.Our ideal candidate will demonstrate versatility and strong leadership skills. VS is responsible for ensuring the safety and suitability of New Zealand exports for overseas and domestic markets by providing food safety and biosecurity, verification and official assurances / certification required for exporting New Zealand’s food and animal products to overseas markets.
