About the role: 
We are looking for motivated individuals who enjoy working independently and analysing information to
support the delivery of the National Operations Group outcomes.

The Vetting Officer will contribute to Police strategies to reduce offending and victimisation by processing vetting applications for external agencies and contributing to the integrity of Police intelligence systems.

Skills and Experience – you will be able to:

  • Demonstrate an ability to perform quality data entry with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate an ability to analyse information and draw appropriate conclusions in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate experience working with Microsoft office in a work or study setting.
  • Determining the relevance (and potential risks identified) of information that is being analysed.
  • Ability to identify and verify key facts from large quantities of information, and summarise this information succinctly.
