We are looking for a Videographer to help us tell stories about our science that resonate with audiences. This role includes opportunities to accompany scientists on field trips, tell stories about innovative and high-impact science and work with world-renowned experts.
The role
From climate change to tectonic plates, Antarctica to Cape Reinga and beyond, our scientists are working on some of Aotearoa/New Zealand’s biggest science questions.
We’re looking for a videographer who can help us take our science storytelling to the next level. If you regularly say ‘yup, I can do that’, get excited about new and innovative ways to drive communication and engagement, take an audience-focused approach, and want to be part of a motivated team focused on excellent outcomes, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
We are looking for someone who can plan, create and edit audio, video and interactive content that’s tailored to our channels and our audiences. You’ll work with our communications advisers to tell stories about our people and our science, while working with our scientists to provide content guidance and support. You’ll be able to identify current content gaps, come up with new ideas and bring them to life.
