For 135 years, Harrison Grierson has been planning the future of New Zealand and, through our many diverse projects, we continue to make our mark on tomorrow. We’re recognised for our innovation, knowledge and outstanding client service, and for being a great place to work. Using the latest technologies and ideas, we shape new and sustainable environments, making life better for everyone.
One of the things our people really value about working with us is the size of our team; we’re not too big or too small, so you quickly become an integral part of the business. It’s fair to say that our exceptional people are at the heart of our success.
That’s where you come in
We’re looking for a proactive Wastewater Process Engineer to join our Parnell based Wastewater team. You come from an infrastructure engineering background and have a proven history in the Three Waters space, including relevant water and wastewater treatment process engineering, planning and analysis.
This is a key role in our 3 Waters team, so you’ll need to have at least 5 years’ experience with Wastewater Process design. Having experience with BioWin software would be a real benefit
What you’ll be doing.
The role is varied with a mix of municipal and industrial clients on a range of new and upgrade treatment plant projects with a team of dedicated professionals and with active support from the Three Waters team.
Day to day you’ll be across client management, project scope development, optioneering of technology solutions, process design and project delivery. You won’t be desk bound as the role is balanced with on-site visits, inspections, and client visits.
As well as the design of wastewater treatment plants, process & instrumentation diagrams, and mass balances, there’s an element of report writing, particularly for Resource Consents and AEE reports, as well as proposal writing.
We are committed to investing in our people and creating high performers; therefore we will provide you with support, learning, and development to help you grow and take the next step. We have a team-based culture set in a challenging and supportive work environment.
