Primary Care Team, Community and Ambulance, Health System Improvement and Innovation

A strong primary health care system is central to improving the health of all New Zealanders and reducing health inequalities between different population groups. Our primary health care system needs to: support people to live well, stay well and get well; ensure people understand and are able to access the care they need; provide care closer to where people live and work and; keep people at the centre of decision-making.
We are looking for an energetic and committed Senior Advisor to join the Primary Care team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a broad understanding of the health system, a keen interest in primary health care and a passion to be part of a busy team tasked with implementing key components of one of government’s priority work programmes.
