The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute is seeking a Senior Research Technician to join the Endocrine Tumours Group. The candidate will work on thyroid cancer, focusing on the molecular and epigenetic mechanisms underlying tumour progression and therapy resistance, contributing to the identification of novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets in a translational research environment.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Collection and processing of biological samples.
Design and execution of cell culture–based experiments.
Establishment of primary cell cultures from normal and tumour thyroid tissues for biomarker validation and preclinical drug testing.
Conduct RNA and protein expression studies.
Design and performance of epigenetic studies
Data analysis, interpretation of results, and presentation of findings.
