We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Linux Engineer to join our team, with a strong focus on enterprise Red Hat Linux environments. This role is centred on operations and support, acting as a key escalation point for Linux‑related issues and ensuring the stability, performance, and security of critical infrastructure platforms.

Location: Aberdeen or London preferred (hybrid working), with remote working considered for the right candidate.

Contract Type: Contract or Permanent considered

What you’ll do

• Provide 3rd line support for Linux-based infrastructure in a large‑scale enterprise environment
• Own and manage incident, problem, and change activities, ensuring high service availability
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent resolutions to recurring issues
• Maintain and optimise Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems across multiple environments
