The Department of Biology, Aarhus University, Denmark, invites applications for a 1-year position in Aeromicrobiology. The position will be anchored within a cross-disciplinary research group and will primarily focus on studying aerosolization of model plant pathogens.

This is a 1–year position starting from Aug 1st or as soon possible. 

Job description

• You will be contributing to experiments using an aerosolization setup and cold-stage (droplet-freezing) assays for quantitative and qualitative studies of Ice-Nucleating Proteins.

• You will also be working primarily with RNA extraction and sequencing to obtain expression profiles of aerosolized cell for model bacterial plant pathogens.

• These activities will be in close collaboration with Assoc. Prof. Jonathan Jacobs, Ohio State University
