The Accountant will work at Rosedale, Auckland, NZ. We operate a hybrid working model with (currently) Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays being in-office days. Work-from-home days (subject to change as determined per Teletrac Navman requirements) may be performed anywhere in New Zealand.
This role will help the Finance Team look after Teletrac Navman’s New Zealand and Australian operations. As well as focusing on month‑end, financial reporting, and the General Ledger, this role will also take on tax reporting preparations for our Australian/New Zealand business assisting with audit/ management reporting as well as ad hoc projects. We are undergoing a process improvement project currently and there remain significant numbers of very manual Excel‑based processes at present. A big part of the role will be to assess and improve legacy processes, especially regarding month‑end accounting processes.
