We have a position for an Accountant with a vehicle dealership in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with full accounting function within a dealership environment
• Reconcile bank accounts, floorplans, debtors and creditors
• Process supplier invoices and vehicle-related payments
• Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Ensure accurate capturing of vehicle and parts transactions
• Support VAT, PAYE, and tax submissions
• Assist with audits and internal controls
• Maintain and update accounting records on relevant systems

Requirements

• Com Degree in Accounting or Finance (completed – essential)
• Minimum 3-4 years' accounting experience in the automotive industry with brands such UD Trucks, Hino, Toyota etc.
• Experience with motor dealership systems (e.g., Kerridge, Automate, CDK, etc.)
