Summary:

The Interim Accountant will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial management and governance arrangements of York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority. The postholder will lead on key technical accounting activities, maintain strong financial controls, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements. This role is responsible for balance sheet management, treasury activities, grant and income accounting, regulatory reporting, and the preparation of high-quality financial information to support decision-making.
