Job Description
The mission:
The Accounting Specialist is responsible for performing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, maintaining accounting records, preparing reconciliations, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. This role is highly operational and focused on maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the company's financial information while ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable accounting and tax regulations.
The expected outcome:
General Accounting
Record journal entries, including cash receipts, disbursements, and general ledger transactions.
Process and post vendor invoices, employee expenses, payroll entries, and other financial transactions.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date accounting records and account reconciliations.
Prepare adjusting and reclassification entries as needed.
