Overview
Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Accounting Department, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, compliance with accounting standards, and the preparation of financial reports. This role will supervise a team of Accountants and Accounting Staffs, and assist in budget preparation, audits, and financial analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Review, check and monitor the correctness of all journal entries
- Ensure that all business transactions are recorded
- Monitor and maintain the accuracy of all accounts in the system, particularly GFire
- Review and analyze expense and fixed assets
- Update financial data in database to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
- Check the supporting documents and collection letters for outstanding Tie-Up billings
