Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities All transactions in the area of responsibility are processed correctly and timeously (e.g. petty cash, general ledger, capital expenses, etc.) All payments, refunds, and reconciliations are processed accurately and timeously. Raise and reverse accruals for all orders in the procurement system when necessary. Reconcile balance sheets in area of responsibility. All suppliers must be loaded on the appropriate banking and financial systems. Prepare foreign payments, maintain a register for foreign currency and adhere to all foreign currency protocols. Verify the correct level of authority before issuing petty cash in area of responsibility, and escalate outstanding submissions timeously. Submit daily cash balances to the Finance Manager. Issue capital expenditure in line with policy and keep a register for monthly reporting. File records of all financial documentation timeously and accurately for audit purposes.
