Job Description The Addictions Counselor facilitates and oversees all sobriety support operations and activities of the SUD program including clinical sobriety groups, staff meetings, staff supervision, acting as agency/community liaison, and directing resident training, programming, family support. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Addictions Counselor shall supervise staff, conduct all training and development through teaching and guiding staff on how to appropriately work with and interact with consumers, other staff, families and guardians. Monitor staff performance management, including evaluations and developmental plans, disciplinary actions, etc., for all program staff as scheduled.
