We are looking for an experience and motivated Administrative Assistant/Typist to join our busy GP surgery team. We are a busy, friendly GP Practice, based in Lightburn Medical Centre in Carntyne in the east end of Glasgow.


This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent organisational, communication and IT skills. The successful candidate must be computer literate and confident working in a demanding healthcare environment. You may also be required to provide reception cover in the event of annual leave or sickness.


Essential Requirements

  • Previous administrative experience within a GP surgery or healthcare setting preferred

  • Experience using EMIS and Docman

  • Accurate typing and data entry skills

  • Knowledge of SCI Gateway

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
