Job Overview
Assists and provides guidance to prospective Job Corps enrollees by determining basic eligibility, conducting screening, and providing career-based counseling.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Duties:
Preparation of correspondence, student applications, and required reports. Maintain confidentiality of student records.Participate in the formulation and implementation of the outreach plan.Maintain ongoing outreach to agencies, schools, community programs and military recruiters by conducting presentations to individuals, student groups, communities, agencies, schools, and potential employers to foster interest in Job Corps and to generate referrals to the Job Corps program. Screen qualified youth for entry into Job Corps according to procedures and criteria.
