Responsibilities

• Purchase products for inventory and maintain inventory levels to improve turnover and meet fill‑rate targets.
• Place orders with suppliers, prepare purchase orders, identify excess inventory, coordinate inventory rotation and ensure delivery deadlines are met.
• Work with vendors to obtain purchase order confirmations and maintain cost and delivery dates in the system.
• Expedite delivery as required.
• Support the item master team with item data maintenance.
• Maintain stocking levels based on preset and anticipated demand of the branches to achieve availability targets.
• Resolve problems with suppliers and indicate the level of satisfaction from branches.
• Review historical and forecasted demand to make appropriate buying decisions.
