We are seeking a passionate and community-minded Community Service Instructor for our afterschool program at PS166! This role is ideal for someone who believes in the power of service and can inspire students in grades K–5 to give back meaningfully. You’ll help plan and lead volunteer opportunities such as local cleanups, food pantry partnerships, donation drives, and other service-based activities that build empathy, teamwork, and civic responsibility.Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Research and establish local partnerships with organizations such as soup kitchens, shelters, food banks, community gardens, and neighborhood clean-up efforts.- Design a flexible, age-appropriate community service curriculum for elementary-aged students that includes hands-on volunteering, reflection activities, and discussions about social impact.- Coordinate logistics for off-site service projects, including permissions, materials, and safety protocols.- Guide students in organi...
