About the Role
We are looking for a motivated clinician to provide effective and high-quality anaesthetic services to the Northland community. Ideally you will bring an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Tikanga Māori, knowledge of Te Reo Māori is also valued. You should be a confident communicator and be willing to participate in teaching resident medical staff, nurses and anaesthetic technicians. You will also be involved in supervision of introductory trainees out of hours on a 1:9 basis, helping them to transition to the registrar after-hours roster. There is an option to participate in the SMO on-call roster from time to time, with SMO back-up.
