About the role

Te Kira Oraka Kararehe | School of Animal Health’s core business is delivering excellent education to ākonga (learners) studying Animal Care, Animal Healthcare Assisting, Veterinary Nursing and Rural Animal Veterinary Technology, both on campus and via distance education.

We seek a suitably qualified person wishing to pursue a career in allied veterinary professional education. This role primarily supports delivery of the NZ Animal Healthcare Assisting (Companion Animal) programme and support teaching on NZ Diploma in Veterinary Nursing on campus is also required. The hours for this role may be split depending on the areas of expertise of candidates.

Your role may include all aspects of a lecturer position, including delivering courses online (and face to face at block courses), marking and student pastoral care.
