Job Summary:

•  The Apartment Painter is responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint, stains, and other finishes to the interior and sometimes exterior of apartment units and common areas.


• This role requires a keen eye for detail, efficiency, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure high-quality results that meet property standards and prepare units for new residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Surface Preparation: Inspect surfaces (walls, ceilings, trim, doors, cabinets) to determine the necessary preparation.


• Clean surfaces thoroughly, removing dirt, grease, and debris.
• Scrape, sand, and wire brush to remove loose, peeling, or old paint.
• Fill cracks, holes, and imperfections with spackle, plaster, or putty.

Apply caulk to seams, corners, and around fixtures.



• Tape off areas not to be painted (trim, windows, light fixtures, outlets).
