Job Description

BC Muslim School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Arabic, Quran and Islamic Studies Teacher to join our vibrant teaching staff. This role requires an educator who can deliver meaningful and engaging lessons in Islamic Studies, Arabic Language, and Quran, while fostering students’ spiritual, moral, and academic development.

Qualifications

• MUST BE CURRENTLY RESIDING IN CANADA. Applicants from outside of Canada will be rejected.
• Obtained a Bachelor of Education from a Canadian university
• Holds a valid teaching license (from a CANADIAN province) or is in process of obtaining one from the Province of BC (TRB Certification)
• Possess excellent classroom management skills
• Knowledge of BC Primary/intermediate curriculum (preferred)
• Relevant experience in primary/intermediate classrooms (an asset)
• Respects the Islamic faith and culture
