Job Description
**Position Summary:**
Provide strategic proactive leadership for the Safety program across Penske Logistics. Partner with Area VP, Regional, and Corporate Leadership, as well as cross-functional teams, to embed Health & Safety principles into all organizational strategies, operational activities, and key decision-making processes. Drive the development and execution of Health & Safety policies, procedures, best practices, training initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
**Major Responsibilities:**
+ Lead the development and implementation of safety strategies, training programs, and performance goals focused on incident and injury prevention, policy and procedure compliance, and adherence to agency regulations.
+ Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics, with emphasis on both leading and trailing indicators, to evaluate the effectiveness of performance improvement efforts.
