Job Description

A Sales Supervisor leads, trains, and motivates a sales team to achieve or exceed sales targets, while handling day‑to‑day operations. They monitor performance, manage staff schedules, resolve customer complaints, and ensure high levels of service and product merchandising. Key goals include driving revenue, maintaining high staff productivity, and fostering a positive team environment.

SPECIFIC TASKS

  • Handle recruiting, training, mentoring, and coaching sales staff to improve sales techniques.
  • Track key metrics (KPIs), prepare daily/weekly reports, and ensure quotas, if any, are met.

OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT

  • Oversee scheduling, inventory levels, and store displays in retail or daily sales activities in B2B/field sales.
  • Assist in closing sales, handle escalated complaints, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Execute sales initiatives, sales quotas, marketing plans, and promotional activities.
