Job Summary

: The Senior Army Instructor serves as the JROTC Department Head and is responsible for executing the policies relative to the administration of the JROTC unit.

Essential Duties:

Mentoring all students in the JROTC program.

Preparing and updating lesson plans for the JROTC curriculum and other lesson preparation requirements.

Other Duties:

Keeping current and updated with new developments and organizations with the associated branch of the military.

Preparing periodic reports on program administration and logistics.

Establishing rapport with school counselors and faculty members.

Making annual presentations of the JROTC program to students at feeder schools for the purpose of recruiting new cadets into the program.

Work with individual students to provide interventions.
