Position Title: Accounting Manager/ Assistant Controller

South Shore, MA, Hybrid (3 days in office)

Comp: $130- 145k + great benefits

Overview: Key role partnering with the Controller to drive financial reporting, close processes, and operational improvements, with a clear path to Controller.

Responsibilities:

+ Lead month-end close and prepare GAAP financials

+ Analyze results and manage key accounting areas (inventory, revenue, leases)

+ Oversee reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis

+ Manage multi-state sales tax compliance and audit support

+ Strengthen internal controls and streamline processes/systems

+ Support reporting, modeling (Excel), and ERP optimization

+ Mentor team and assist with strategic projects

Requirements
Major Keys / Qualifications:

+ Public accounting experience (5-8+ years)
