Job Description

Food Preparation

  • Wash, peel, chop, and prepare vegetables, meats, and ingredients
  • Measure and organize ingredients before cooking
  • Assist chefs with meal preparation and plating

Cooking Support

  • Cook simple dishes under supervision
  • Monitor food while cooking (stirring, heating, frying, etc.)
  • Prepare sauces, salads, desserts, or side dishes

Kitchen Cleaning & Hygiene

  • Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards
  • Dispose of waste properly and maintain cleanliness

Inventory & Storage

  • Store food items correctly
  • Check freshness and expiration dates
  • Help receive and organize kitchen supplies

Team Assistance

  • Support chefs during busy service hours
  • Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff
