Overview

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic leader for the Llwyn y Bryn campus. This campus offers four learning areas: English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Visual Arts, Adult Basic Education (ABE), and Music Performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the management of the Learning Areas including curriculum, quality, budgeting, staff deployment, performance management, and learner engagement.
• Support the Learning Area Manager in ensuring high-quality teaching, learning and outcomes within the Learning Area.
• Embed a consistent approach to learner management and support staff to achieve learning objectives.

Qualifications

• Recognised Teaching Qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
• Degree or equivalent relevant qualification.
• Knowledge of current issues facing FE Colleges and curriculum developments, with a strong appreciation of Work Based Learning.
