Job Description
- Prepare and/or review accounting records for investment-related transactions.
- Conduct research on the appropriate accounting treatment for new or complex investment products.
- Prepare and/or review SPPI test and ECL model
- Liaise with custodian banks to drive initiatives that streamline and improve the investment accounting process.
- Partner with the Group Investment team, Financial Risk Management team, and Corporate Treasury team on projects related to investment accounting and governance.
- Lead or support data quality enhancement and validation initiatives in collaboration with the investment systems team.
- Certified accountants or candidates pursuing qualifications from internationally recognised accounting bodies.
- Strong understanding of IFRS 9.
- Knowledge of the insurance industry and IFRS 17 is an advantage, but not mandatory.
