Responsibilities
Assist in carrying out routine inspections of marine engines, mechanical equipment, and vessel systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. Support the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of engines, pumps, generators, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical equipment. Assist senior engineers and technicians in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues and implementing corrective actions. Participate in the installation, testing, commissioning, and upgrading of mechanical equipment and machinery. Prepare and maintain maintenance records, service reports, inspection checklists, work permits, and other engineering documentation. Update equipment maintenance history, spare parts inventory records, and technical documents to ensure accurate record keeping. Coordinate with site personnel, vendors, subcontractors, and vessel crew to support maintenance and project activities.
