Responsibilities: This role is mainly in charge of managing the maintenance/repair of vehicles, compactors/bins, equipment and machineries as well as the back office support. This role will also be the backup for the Operations Manager.
Back end office support - Effectively manage the work allocation for the back office support
- Manage and coordinate the deployment of the back office support with other departments in charge
Purchasing and Budgeting Cost Control - Source, compare and engage contractors/vendor/supplier for Engineering department (eg: tyres, spare parts, repair and maintenance of vehicles and equipment, bin inspection, for welding etc)
- Work with Purchasing department on vendor sourcing
- In charge of submitting quotations and invoices for approval
- Review quotations carefully, make comparison before making decision on the choice of vendor/service to use/goods to buy.
