The Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at Wesleyan University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry beginning July 1, 2027. The selected candidate will develop an independent research program supported by extramural funding that integrates current biochemical, biophysical or structural approaches to address fundamental problems in the life sciences including but not limited to those relating to nucleic acid structure/function, proteomics, molecular microbiology, protein structure and function, and enzyme kinetics. The minimum requirement is a Ph.D. in molecular biology or a related field. We are especially interested in candidates who have postdoctoral experience in biochemistry, molecular biophysics, or structural biology, and who have demonstrated excellence in research and teaching.
