What the role is This role sits within the Power System Operation Division (PSOD), which ensures the secure and reliable operation of Singapore’s power system. It supports 24/7 monitoring of the electricity market, generation dispatch, and transmission system, including reporting, data analysis, coordination with power stations, and power system studies.
What you will be working on - Assist the Control Manager in the realtime (24x7) monitoring of the electricity market, generation dispatch and transmission system to ensure the secure and reliable operation of the power system.
- Preparation of advisory notices/reports for publication in the Electricity Market.
- Compilation of operational data for analysis.
- Coordinating with power stations on generation dispatch.
- Assisting the Control Manager to perform power system simulation studies.
