**Description**



Under the general supervision of the Phlebotomy and Specimen Processing Supervisor, the Clinical Lab Assistant I performs routine non-technical, manual, and a moderate amount of technical work in the medical laboratory. Maintains laboratory areas and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition. Carries out related tasks as required.

**Required Qualifications:**



+ H.S. Diploma or GED.

+ California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License upon hire or,

+ California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License upon hire.
