Element has an exciting opportunity for a Geotechnical Instrumentation and Monitoring Technician. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for assisting in designing, planning, and coordinating geotechnical instrumentation projects. Your duties will include schedule control, obtaining permits for on-site installation, and setting up/commissioning monitoring systems.
Responsibilities
Installation & Maintenance: Assist in installing and maintaining geotechnical instruments, including inclinometers, piezometers, and settlement markers. Data Collection: Collect, record, and check monitoring data regularly from the site to ensure instruments function correctly. Reporting: Assist in preparing accurate data reports and summaries. Compliance & Safety: Follow all safety rules and site regulations at all times. Collaboration: Partner with engineers and the project team to support ongoing monitoring activities.
