Overview Landfill Management and Operations Department (LMOD) oversees Tuas Marine Transfer Station and Semakau Landfill, Singapore’s only landfill for waste disposal.
Responsibilities - Assist the engineer in overseeing and ensuring safe waste receiving operations at TMTS & SL slipways.
- Coordinate operational and safety matters with TMTS/SL stakeholders to ensure operations such as landfill, O&M of M&E equipment, and O&M of tugs & barges are conducted according to plan.
- Supervise contractors in carrying out work/services on site, ensuring all work is carried out safely without disrupting operations, and attend to maintenance or repair works to ensure completion within the set timeline.
- Assist engineer in reviewing traffic management plans within TMTS/SL.
- Prepare and call quotations for buildings and the facility’s infrastructure maintenance; review and ensure sufficient supply of spare parts for landfill equipment....
