DESCRIPTION The Athletic Trainer (ATC) position is a clinic‐based role within the medical clinics and reports directly to the supervising physician and Director of Operations for all matters related to job duties, performance evaluations, approval of leave, and other assignments as deemed necessary for the benefit of the Baton Rouge Orthopaedic Clinic (BROC). The Athletic Trainer provides patient care and clinical support under the direction and supervision of a licensed physician, consistent with Louisiana Athletic Trainer scope of practice. This role supports physician evaluation and treatment plans by assisting with patient assessments, therapeutic interventions, rehabilitation, patient education, and clinic operations. The Athletic Trainer treats all patients in a caring, professional, and ethical manner and supports the mission and standards of care of BROC.
