Job Description Perform a full range of basic audiological assessments (otoscopy, PTA, tympanometry, acoustic reflexes, speech tests, OAE, etc.), obtain case histories, use proper patient identifiers, and document results accurately in the EMR system. Interpret audiological findings and provide counselling to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. Manage hearing aid services, including evaluation, device selection, fitting, user education, troubleshooting, repairs coordination, follow-up reviews, and outcome verification (e.g., REM, functional gain). Handle ear impressions for earmoulds and swim plugs, and support implant services such as programming and rehabilitation for middle ear and cochlear implant users. Collaborate with clinicians, technicians, nurses, vendors, and other professionals make appropriate referrals and integrate audiological results with medical and social information.
