Job Description Our client is seeking a Robotics & Automation Specialist to join their Design Team. This role turns client requirements into fully engineered automated machinery and robotic systems, covering the full lifecycle: concept, equipment selection, electrical design, PLC/HMI/robot programming, and commissioning support. Work spans virtually every industrial sector in Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

Develop automation concepts, including equipment selection and control architecture (site visits as required)

Produce electrical designs, schematics, and panel layouts for custom machinery and robotic systems

Develop PLC, HMI, and robot programs to project standards

Collaborate with mechanical designers, electricians, and shop personnel through build, integration, and testing

Provide field service: troubleshooting and optimization of PLCs, HMIs, robots, VFDs, and vision systems
