Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking a contract AV Installation Technician to support hands-on installation, wiring, and equipment setup for mobile technical units and related projects. This role is a good fit for someone with IT hardware, computer technician, AV, cabling, or technical installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and set up AV, broadcast, computer, and related technical equipment


• Run and prepare wiring/cabling for equipment, panels, racks, and systems


• Read and follow floor plans, rack layouts, and technical diagrams


• Install cables, panels, connectors, and hardware components


• Test completed installation work to confirm proper functionality


• Use basic hand tools to support assembly, wiring, and installation tasks


• Assist with multiple technical projects while meeting deadlines
