Inuka is working with a renewable energy IPP to recruit a BESS Solutions Engineer based in Cape Town. This role will support utility‑scale battery storage projects across design, procurement, tendering, and execution phases, ensuring technically robust and commercially competitive solutions. Responsibilities Support delivery of standalone and hybrid BESS projects across multiple lifecycle stages. Develop and review technical specifications, employer’s requirements, and EPC documentation. Conduct technical reviews of BESS technologies, contractors, and system designs. Support contract negotiations and technical due diligence processes. Provide technical oversight during construction, testing, and commissioning activities. Review battery performance, safety systems, and compliance with grid and regulatory standards.
