About the role

As the Buddy Programme Coordinator for the Whakatipu area, you will lead the delivery of a well-established Family Works programme that supports tamariki, rangatahi and their whānau. 

This role involves coordinating all aspects of the Buddy Programme, from assessing referrals and matching children with trained volunteer “Big Buddies”, to providing ongoing support and oversight to ensure each relationship is safe, positive and effective. 

You will recruit, train and supervise volunteers, maintain strong relationships with families and community partners, and promote the programme within the wider community.
