Position Overview

Inverell Shire Council is looking for an individual to join the Northern Section of our Civil Engineering team in the role of Bitumen Patching Ganger/Driver. The role is responsible for a variety of maintenance and construction projects, including the supervision of a specialist patching unit and the operation of one of Council's heavy trucks.

• Construction and ongoing maintenance of a variety of Council assets including roads, stormwater pipes, bridges, parks and gardens and a variety of other assets.
• Road maintenance and repair service for Inverell and surrounding communities.
• Our truck drivers form a part of a larger team, including specialist plant operators, tradespeople, labourers and contractors with a number of specialities.
